Abselling Anchor For Rope Access

Abseiling Anchors (commonly known as ‘Mushroom Posts’) are a versatile solution to enable rope access. The system is designed to be fixable to various surface structures and materials, to create safe access to both internal and external spaces. If a planned cleaning and maintenance strategy exists for the building, regular access will be required to the façade. However the structure of the roof and general location of the building may make the installation of a Davit arm system impractical. The fall arrest anchor enables trained rope access operatives to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks regularly even if space is limited on the roof structure.

Hanson’s abseil anchor system conforms to LOLER 1998 and BS EN 795:1996 (class A anchor point) standards. To ensure that your system continues to conform to legislation we offer abseil anchor testing as part of our extensive portfolio of compliance testing services.
